连接器和输液管或输液管通常由塑料制成,并进行粘合。紫外线和 LED 固化丙烯酸基粘合剂由于固化时间短,特别适用于这一用途,可加快生产速度,从而降低生产成本。瞬干胶可成功用于难以粘接的基材。

由于粘合剂可能会在粘合接头处与液体接触,因此所使用的粘合剂除了必须符合卫生要求和有机安全要求外,还必须能够耐受液体和普通消毒方法。此外,软管系统中使用的粘合剂还必须具有所需的柔韧性和强度。由于软管和接头需要紧密配合,毛细管作用粘合剂系统尤其适合这种应用。
